Your commercial building or office may have stone floors. When your clients enter the premises, their first impression of your business is crucial. One of the first things they’ll notice is the floor and how well you maintain it.
The Glaze Guard™ process entails a deep cleaning of the tile and grout, applying a GROUTint™ colorant of choice to create consistent grout lines, and finally the application and curing of the Glaze Guard™ coating.
| Stage | What happens | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Assessment & estimate | An estimator measures, documents and photographs the area to be serviced. You receive a written estimate within 24 hours. | Estimate in 24 hrs |
| Diamond honing | Wet diamond honing removes damage from the stone. The diamond sequence depends on the stone variety and the extent of the damage. | Varies by area |
| Polish & buff | Technicians polish and buff to your chosen finish — gloss, matte, or satin luster. | Varies by area |
| Seal & protect | A sealer suited to the stone is applied, and we brief your team on the care routine that keeps it looking new. | Varies by area |
As a guide, an average restoration of a 150 sq ft marble floor takes one technician about a day. Work usually begins two to three weeks after an estimate is approved.
